On 11/12/2010 Lt Whitesides was requested to respond to the Davie County Detention Center by detention officers. Lt. Whitesides was advised that a Kenneth Johnson had been arrested on a probation violation charge and during a search of person and belongings two used needles and lock picking tools had been located. Lt. Whitesides noticed that the tools appeared to have signs of usage. Johnson advised that he was a clock smith and the tools were used for clocks. Lt Whitesides advised Johnson that the tools were not used on clocks and charged him with possession of burglary tools and he was placed on a $2,500.00 bond in addition to the $6,000.00 bond for the probation violation charge.
