Davie County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call at 345 Sheffield Farm Trail. The homeowner called 911 stating that someone had broken into his outbuilding and he had seen them. The homeowner attempted to stop the suspects while they were leaving in a gold colored car. While the suspects were trying to flee the homeowner stepped into the roadway to attempt to speak with the suspects. The homeowner was armed with a handgun and fired one shot at the vehicle hitting it in the driverside rear window. A lookout was given for the vehicle.
Davie Communications then received a call from 180 Harding Street where the caller stated he was looking for a house to rent and someone shot the window out of his car. Officers responded to that location and investigation revealed that the two suspects had been the ones that attempted to break into the outbuilding at 345 Sheffield Farm Trail. Both subjects were taken into custody. Arnold was placed under a $2500.00 secured bond and George was released on an unsecured bond.
