Deputy M. Butero responded to 176 Erwin St Cooleemee to a larceny that had already occurred. Upon arriving he spoke with residents Katherine Shepherd and Steve Rice both stating that while neither were at the residence an unknown person(s) took a jewelry box belonging to Ms. Shepherd from her room. Shepherd is renting a room from Rice who is currently renting/purchasing the home from his father.
